Will the converted Word document look exactly like the PDF?+
For straightforward, text-based PDFs (reports, letters, single-column documents), text and basic formatting carry over well. Complex layouts — multi-column pages, heavy tables, or unusual fonts — may need some manual cleanup afterward, since PDF is a fixed-layout format and Word is a flowing-text format by design.
Does this work on scanned PDFs (photos of a document)?+
No — this converter reads the actual text layer inside a PDF. A scanned PDF is really just an image with no underlying text, so there's nothing to extract into editable Word text. We don't run OCR (text recognition on images), so be honest with yourself about this limit before relying on it for a scanned document.
How long does conversion take?+
Most documents convert in under 30 seconds. Longer or more complex PDFs can take up to a minute — the tool shows a progress message while it works.
Is my file uploaded and stored somewhere?+
