Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge?+
You can merge up to 10 PDF files at once, each up to 20 MB. For most everyday use — combining a few scanned pages or reports — that's more than enough in a single pass.
Can I control the order of the merged pages?+
Yes — after uploading, reorder the files with the up/down arrows before merging. The final document follows that exact order, top to bottom.
Does merging reduce PDF quality?+
No. Merging copies the original pages exactly as they are — text, images, and formatting are preserved without re-encoding or compression.
Is my file uploaded and stored somewhere?+
Your files are processed in memory to build the merged PDF and streamed back to you as a download — they are not saved to a database or kept after your request completes.
Will this work with password-protected PDFs?+
Encrypted or password-protected PDFs generally can't be read for merging. Remove the password first (in the PDF's original application) if you hit this.
