Free Meta Tag Generator: Title, Description & Open Graph Tags in One Tool

Every page needs three overlapping sets of tags to look right everywhere it's shared: the plain HTML title/description Google shows in search results, the Open Graph tags Facebook and LinkedIn read for link previews, and the Twitter Card tags X uses for its own preview format. Writing all three by hand, correctly, across separate references is slower than it needs to be.

What each tag set actually controls

  • Title & meta description — what shows as your blue link and snippet in Google search results.
  • Open Graph (og:title, og:description, og:image) — the preview card shown when your link is pasted into Facebook, LinkedIn, or WhatsApp.
  • Twitter Card tags — a separate, near-identical set X reads instead of falling back to Open Graph in every case.

The character-limit trap

Google generally truncates titles past roughly 50-60 characters and descriptions past roughly 150-160 characters in search results — go over, and your carefully written copy gets cut off with "…" mid-sentence, often at the worst possible spot.

Generate all three at once

SaveIt's SEO tags generator gives you a live search-result preview as you type, warns you when you're past the safe character count, and outputs the title/description, full Open Graph block, and Twitter Card tags together — ready to paste into your page's <head>.

Don't skip Open Graph

A page with no Open Graph tags still gets shared — just with a broken or blank preview card, which measurably hurts click-through when a link is pasted into a group chat or social post. See our Open Graph & meta tags explained guide for the full mechanics.
